Having judged the Professional Services Management Excellence Awards and the Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards for years, and worked with many award-winning businesses, I’ve seen how just entering reputable awards programmes – let alone being short-listed or winning – can be a positive, beneficial experience for businesses.
Professional Services Management Excellence Awards
Established in 2002, the Professional Services Management Excellence Awards help leaders and management teams in professional services firms demonstrate the critical contribution of effective leadership and management to their business. They are organised by the Managing Partners’ Forum in association with knowledge partners the Financial Times and Harvard Business Review.
Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards
Focused exclusively on marketing excellence, the Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards have also been run for many years. These awards have several categories, including Development, Strategic, Communication, Sector and Chairman’s & Champions awards, so there’s plenty of opportunity to demonstrate the effectiveness of your marketing activities.
Need some advice and help with your award entries?
Over the past few years I’ve also helped several businesses prepare their submissions for both these awards as well as other reputable national awards, such as the Nursery World Awards, The Herald Family Scottish Family Business Awards, the Credit Strategy Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency Awards, the Card and Payments Awards and the Scottish Legal Awards, either by drafting them from scratch or reviewing their own draft.
So, if you’re considering awards and would like some advice and help, please get in touch.
